Oregon Organic = "Oreganic"

We couldn't count the number of times we have had to say "Oregon organic...." when talking about our wines. Far to many to calculate. So, to simplify things at the winery we have started using a term that Dr. Gross coined...."Oreganic." Now you can say it as Or-e-ganic, Or-uh-ganic, or simply Ore-ganic which sounds pretty much like organic.

So, help us celebrat this simplification of terms by going out and buying Oreganic products. You'll be able to recognize them as they are the ones made in Oregon from organic goods. Enjoy.

I have been looking for a source for organic seeds of organically produced grapes produced as a by-product of organically produced wines. I am curious as to what is done with the seeds after the wine has been processed.

Randy,

We compost everything at crush. So all skins, stems and seeds end up in our compost pile. I'll talk with the team and see if we can separate out the seeds and provide you with what you are looking for. Please contact me via email dewey@coopermountainwine.com and I'll see what I can do.

I was wondering if your wine was suitable for vegans. That is, are any animal/dairy products (gelatin, albumin, isinglass) used during the fining process?

Thanks for any help!
